East Coast Cobras, LLC

President, Founder

I founded and currently operate Armadillo Cerakote, specializing in high-quality ceramic coatings for firearms, automotive parts, and outdoor equipment, ensuring durability and aesthetic customization. My design expertise includes creating stenciling patterns, logo creation, iconography, and illustration. I craft detailed stencils using a vinyl plotter, bringing designs to life with precision cutting. I also redesign logos and icons for stenciling, restoring covered designs or adding new elements for branding and aesthetics.

Painting has always been a passion, and my work involves mixing Cerakote with a catalyst and carefully weighing it to achieve optimal results. I also dabble in mixology. This graphic design work blends creativity with technical precision, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability. I create marketing materials that align with branding and visual communication. Though challenging and expensive at the start, I love what I do, combining many skills developed over decades.

STAKES
Stakes is building a wagering platform combining social and NFTs for the next generation of sports fans. Traditional sports betting is too difficult to understand for the average person and does not align with their expectations of how to bet on things. Most betting activity happens off of sportsbooks between friends so Stakes is creating a new paradigm of betting that is social, casual, and more approachable to everyday fans and their friends.

TKKR INC

Lead Product Designer

As the founding member of TKKR, a startup focused on innovative Web3 software solutions for the creative industry, I helped pioneer the tokenization of physical items, such as luxury timepieces, into NFTs, with the added security of keeping them in a rented safe vault. Our goal was to bridge the gap between the digital and physical worlds by creating NFTs (NFTs), marking a significant step forward as one of the pioneers in this space. I laid the foundation for all design strategies, guiding the project from concept to a fully realized application. This included UX research, competitive analysis, storyboarding, and collaboration using Miro. I crafted deliverables like wireframes, branding elements, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes. My close partnership with the CEO and development team ensured seamless alignment of design and development efforts, resulting in a polished, user-centric product that met both business goals and user needs.

Cleerly Inc., New York, NY

Senior UI/UX Designer – Principal designer

As the Principal Software Designer at Cleerly, I lead weekly conference calls with globally distributed project managers and engineers to review project progress and identify ways to improve team communication and efficiency. I also collaborate closely with the CEO and project managers to translate their vision into intuitive, user-centered designs. These designs feature advanced data visualizations, including complex tables, dynamic infographics, and interactive 3D heart models that provide detailed views of arteries and segments.

The software consists of two integrated platforms: Cleerly Labs and Cleerly Coronary.

  • Cleerly Labs empowers lab analysts to identify plaque buildup and vessel narrowing.
  • Cleerly Coronary delivers the most comprehensive cardiology report available today, helping clinicians assess and predict patient risks for heart disease.

Both platforms incorporate robust features such as advanced data visualizations, intricate infographics, user account systems, and interactive 3D heart renderings to display vasculature and plaque classifications. Together, these interfaces provide a powerful toolset for predicting and addressing clinical risks associated with heart disease.

Cleerly leverages cutting-edge artificial intelligence to perform advanced analyses of CT scans, aiming to detect and prevent heart disease. As the sole Senior UI/UX Designer, I am responsible for the design of Cleerly’s software platforms as well as all business and product collateral for web and digital channels.

Cleerly Coronary goes beyond traditional measures of heart disease by enabling comprehensive quantification and characterization of plaque buildup in each of the heart arteries. The findings from Cleerly Coronary support the identification of plaques that may cause heart attacks.

Simulmedia Inc., New York, NY

Senior UI/UX Designer

I was drafted from California to join a small, elite team tasked with transforming Dave Morgan’s third company, Simulmedia, from an advertising firm into a cutting-edge AdTech company with robust software solutions. As the sole designer on a team of engineers and a product manager, I played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s digital transformation. When I arrived, there was no existing software; everything was built from the ground up.

I designed the UI/UX for the VAMOS platform, bringing digital advertising methodologies to audience targeting and measurement in linear television. This work supported Simulmedia as it navigated the programmatic TV advertising marketplace, ultimately establishing itself as an industry leader.

In a highly fast-paced environment, I delivered swift design iterations, including wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, to meet evolving business needs. I also developed a cohesive design language, named Pants, by forking Bootstrap. This style guide became the central repository for design standards and is actively used across at least seven different applications.

Based in New York City, Simulmedia was founded in 2008 by serial entrepreneur Dave Morgan and has grown to become the leading provider of data-driven TV advertising. The company’s automated platform helps advertisers of all types and budget sizes drive better performance and build more durable brand awareness than any other TV solution.

BFA: Communications Design

Minor in Graphic Design

I graduated from Pratt Institute on the Dean’s List with a GPA of 3.65. During this time, my fine art practice underwent a significant transformation, evolving into the digital realm of design and setting the foundation for my future career. Sometimes, I miss college—mostly the part where pulling all-nighters was considered dedication, not poor time management.

My Biography

You could say that it’s in my blood to be a designer. When I was just a kid, growing up in the great state of New Hampshire, my grandfather first taught me how to draw. A draftsman himself, he showed me how to sketch and build simple wooden objects, which we would paint together and sell at his church’s craft fairs. It’s those afternoons I spent in his studio, eagerly showing him each of my drawings, that mark the very beginning of my career as a creator. It’s what taught me to love art.

Throughout high school, prep school, and college, I went on to study oil painting and printmaking with master artists Bill Darling and his mentor Frank Mason. I couldn’t get enough of the creative process, and developed an interest in the art of Intaglio printmaking and American impressionism. After being introduced to the computer and the power of applications like Photoshop and Illustrator, my attention shifted to more digital oriented art. Curious about the convergence of art and technology, I found that I could apply the principles I had learned during my fine art studies to this new artform. And that’s what led me to a career in graphic design, logo creation, and user interface design, and eventually brought me to Silicon Valley.
